I’m a stay at home mom of 4 kids. Born and raised in the beautiful state of Florida, we just moved to Nashville after living in Texas for 7 years. In a previous life, I was a Graphic Designer, a Visual Merchandiser and an Art Teacher. After having kids, I realized writing had always been my passion, having written since high school. I started a personal family blog back in 2008 and wrote regularly. But after having 3 kids in just as many years, I lost time to write. Things got crazy and when I decided to pick back up, I discovered all my hard work was gone. So, I had to start from scratch and this time had more to say about lots of different topics.
Due to behavior issues with my 2 youngest (mostly my very youngest), I looked into changing our diets. You can find my post about how it all started here. We eliminated all artificial food dyes and noticed a difference almost immediately. We have been dye free (mostly) ever since and honestly have no desire to go back to our old ways.
We live on a one income budget and most people told me in the beginning they would love to try going dye free but money and time always got the best of them. So I decided to start a blog that incorporated posts about finding reasonably priced dye free alternatives from everyday grocery stores. I do all the footwork, so you don’t have to.
